Currently ranked number 16 in the Super Welterweight Division, Knapp faces his most formidable opponent to date namely Ahmed El Moussaiau on the 18 March tournament, “Peril at the Palace”.
Knapp cannot afford to falter at this stage in his career – a win almost certainly elevating him to the Top 10 Elite in the WBC in one of the most exciting Divisions. His potential has now also been recognized by the IBO mandating the fight for the IBO Intercontinental Title, strategically positioning the winner of Knapp vs El Moussaiau as mandatory challenger for Denis Hogan’s IBO Title.
