Biker, muso, storyteller, adventurer and all-round good guy Clint Cunningham has long been a feature at Golden Gloves events, belting out the national anthem and entertaining fight crowds.
He’s done so in Monte Carlo and at Emperors Palace, always with a smile on his face and a song in his heart.
Clint now needs our help following surgery in March to remove a brain tumour.
To help alleviate his medical costs, Golden Gloves will be auctioning an item of signed Mike Tyson memorabilia at “The Coronation” at Emperors Palace on May 31.
“He’s graced us for years, so anything that boxing people can do to assist Clint will go a long way towards him coping with the enormous medical costs,” said promoter Rodney Berman.
The good news is that he is in recovery at home and taking things a day at a time.
