She trains, she applauds and now she’ll be in full voice on Friday.That’s right – Carol Tshabalala, the lady with the golden voice, will be calling the fights at Emperors Palace.
Popularly known as the First Lady of SA Boxing, Tshabalala will do the ring announcing for the “Reach for the Stars” show, adding a touch of glamour to proceedings.
Apart from two SA titles on the bill, headlined by Rowan Campbell against Renson Honyani for the super-middleweight belt, there will be an auction for the Reach for a Dream foundation and tribute paid to long-serving boxing writer Ron Jackson.
Boxing starts at 7pm.
