DeeJay Kriel can have no complaints when he fights Dexter Alimento for the WBC minimumweight International title at Emperors Palace next weekend.
Experienced South African Thabo Spampool has been appointed to referee the contest. Spampool, a former pro boxer, has officiated many high-profile local bouts, the most recent of which was Kevin Lerena versus Johnny Muller.
The three judges are Ferdinand Estrella (Philippines) and the SA pair of Joseph Chaane and Sylvia Mokaila.
Dr Peter Ngatane will oversee the action as WBC supervisor.
