Overwhelmed by the demand for tickets for this weekend’s tournament, Golden Gloves has put in place a system to let fans pre-book tables for all their upcoming events, allowing them to retain their bookings for each tournament.
The imminent ones are Christmas Cracker on December 1 and then their first extravaganza of 2017, on February 4.
Interestingly, promoter Rodney Berman is busy inking a deal with welterweight hotshot Thulani Mbenge, who is slated to fight on both shows.
“This young man’s potential is really exciting me, and I am confident that he will be a major force in one of the premier weight divisions in world boxing,” said the bullish Berman.
