Kevin Lerena’s upcoming fight against Mariuz Wach on 17 September at Emperors Palace has been a headache for trainer Peter Smith with regards to sparring. Finally the arrival today of Wach’s lookalike (physically) Cassius Chaney from Connecticut USA as chief sparring partner has brought relieve to Smith. Chaney stands just short of 2m. ‘Exciting time ahead as we start the buildup to fight night’ says Smith. Chaney has a record of 22-1-0 that in itself is serious business. Watch this Space!
